Meet Your AI Fluency Instructor
The Rev. Dr. Andy Morgan is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and serves as the Director of Faith Formation at First Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN.
Since 2023, Andy has emerged as a thought leader in the Presbyterian Church and broader Mainline tradition through speaking engagements, writing, and helping to shape policy centered on AI fluency and theologically-centered ethics. Andy has delivered major presentations at the APCE as well as across presbyteries, seminaries, and conference centers across the country and has been published in The Journal for Preachers (2025).
Andy's passion for Christian Formation and discipleship has shaped his desire that AI both make sense to "folks in the pews" as well as equip the broader Church to effectively and faithfully use AI tools. Andy is a contributor to the AI Training Academy and offers webinars for Solace AI.
